Gecko

In the beginning there was nothing, and the universe was not yet born, and then...boom!

Anyway, to cut the story short, and so it came that after many things of greater or smaller significance a gecko first opened its eyes to the world one fine day, took a look and muttered 'So that's it huh?', and promptly went back to sleep.
